The Humanoid Robotics Nervous System: Perception, Balance, and Real-Time Control

Humanoid robots have moved beyond speculative lab projects to become practical systems intended for operation in human environments such as factories, hospitals, warehouses, and homes. Unlike traditional industrial robots that work in orderly, highly predictable workcells, humanoids must navigate dynamic settings, stay balanced on two legs, interpret human intent, and respond safely in real time, presenting system-level engineering challenges that differ fundamentally from fixed automation.

Solutions for ICT Edge Computing and Base Station Servers

As 5G, the fifth generation of wireless technology and beyond, drives the need for high-speed, low-latency communication, base stations have become central to modern ICT infrastructure, relying on edge computing architectures that include RRHs, RUs, DUs, CUs, edge servers, and thermal management systems. Design engineers must select components and materials that are compact, heat-resistant, reliable, and low in transmission loss, all while supporting scalability and efficiency.

Understanding On-Board Chargers In Electric Vehicles: The Key to Efficient EV Charging

Electric vehicles are reshaping the future of transportation, and at the center of this progress is the On-Board Charger (OBC). This essential component converts power from charging stations into the precise voltage required for efficient battery charging. As EV technology advances and battery capacities grow, the demand for high-performance OBCs and reliable electronic components continues to rise. Panasonic Industry supports this evolution with innovative solutions designed to meet these challenges.

ERJ-UP6D Series Anti-Sulfurated Thick Film Chip Resistors

Panasonic expands its ERJ-UP6D Series with new Anti-Sulfurated Thick Film Chip Resistors, Anti-Surge Type, offering 0.5% tolerance for higher accuracy in circuit building. These resistors feature anti-sulfurization properties to prevent open circuits due to sulfide disconnection, making them ideal for harsh environments exposed to oil, gas, or polluted soil. With a rated power of 0.5W in an 0805 inch case size, these resistors exceed standard thick film resistor ESD surge characteristics. They are compliant with AEC-Q200 and other industry standards, ensuring superior quality and reliability.

ERA-2V Series Thin Film Chip Resistors

Panasonic has enhanced its ERA-xV Resistors Product line with the new ERA-2V Series Thin Film Chip Resistors, tailored for extremely hazardous environments. These resistors are uniquely designed with a gold inner terminal and a soft outer terminal, offering high reliability and stability under conditions of high temperature and humidity. They feature an operating temperature range of -55°C to +155°C and are capable of enduring a load life of 10,000 hours at 85°C, effectively resisting heat shock, corrosion, and ESD. The ERA-2V Series is AEC-Q200 qualified, meeting stringent industry quality standards, and complies with multiple global standards, including RoHS and REACH. Ideal for applications in automotive, energy, measurement equipment, and factory automation, these resistors offer high accuracy, performance, and anti-sulfuration properties, ensuring dependable performance in critical conditions.
