Panasonic's Tactile (Light Touch) Switches are versatile and can be used in almost any user interface application.
All Panasonic tactile switches are designed and manufactured in-house, including the metal dome which is our core technology. Designed in various shapes, sizes, terminals and push forces, Panasonic’s Tactile (Light Touch) Switches offer the opportunity to select the perfect Switch for any application. With various construction methods and materials, Panasonic tactile switches also have a variety of different click ratios across many series to match the feeling that is desired for your application. By varying different click ratios and travel combinations, we are able to provide different sound levels as well, depending on if a loud or quiet switch is needed.
Panasonic also offers IP67 rated sealed tactile switches for applications that require waterproofing. These switches are sealed using a patented laser welding technology to provide a better seal, prevent damage, and preserve the tactile feedback of the switch when compared to using a conventional film adhesive.
